Serenity in Selong Blanak (Lombok ep1.6)

On the afternoon, we went back to Slenong Blanak to capture the sunset. We have much time to explore as we arrived around 4PM.

In my walked on the beach, I founded some kids playing football and suddenly they run to the water for swimming. They look free and natural, not many kids has a chance to live like this, while some fishermans preparing their tools and boat for sailing. Just a simply living on amazing place :)

On the left edge of the beach, there are a river going from hills to the beach. My mind said that its a good spot to explore. With a new wide lens dan filter.., I think its a new beginning for me in photography specially for landscape.

The sunset show was awesome, the cloud was thin and sun itself showing the yellow red light. We took some times here until the dark. I wish I could go back there soon.

Senggigi Blues (Lombok ep1.3)

After long day activity since our arrival, we took a good rest in hotel at Senggigi beach and start again to prepare the gear for the sunset. Me and Wandi went through the beach path from hotel where we can see mount Agung at Bali island as the background. Its a perfect spot!

Its little rain at the beginning so we need to clean up our filter many times. I took the breakwater rock as the object and as usual, I tried to capture the good wave or its trail. The only problem that I just aware is my new filter is not match with ND holder so I need to hold the ND filter while capturing the moment. Hmm its remind me a few years back :)

After Sunset

In my imagine, I want to take the coral stones combines as a tone in my head where some of them trowing the green glow of moss. Hmm not perfect but I like the vibrance.

Sunset at Tanjung Pendam

At the end, the trip to the one of amazing destination in Indonesia become reality. The next 5 posts recite about our activities around Belitung island. With 13 friends, we started our trip on Friday noon. It takes only 50 mins to Hanandjoedin airport at Tanjung Pandan. From the map, Belitung island location is quite close, its upright of Jakarta.

As arrived in Belitung, we welcomed by bang Ito and his friend, very experience local guide that always explain every question with patient and humor. With no wasting time, he picked us up to taste the local cuisine, mie Belitung. Hmm, its yummy and its a very good start before we explore the city and watch the sunset on Tanjung Pendam beach, the most happening location in Tanjung Pandan.

Not too many people in Tanjung Pendam when we got there, but its look like good place for jalan-jalan sore or hanging with friends and family. Now its the the first time I stand my tripod to capture the moment as well as my friends do.










The beach here are very flat, the point of interest is only the sunset itself. The flair and light is nice, but the clouds was very thick, and again.. its too flat. I walked along the beach trying to find another interesting object until I founded the 2 big tress standing on the sea. Its amazing they can live there as if I'm not mistake its not a mangrove. There is some teory that told about why they can live there.., but for me its because he has friend.

The sun has gone.., we then gathered to the meeting point and having some chit-chat. Holiday mood are really felt among us. After taking some pics of us, now the time to check-in at hotel, prepare ourself for tomorrow :)
