The Old Gears
Time after time, time goes fly. Still fresh in my mind when my dad always brought his gear in our trips. We lived on some places when I was child, Padang, Palu, Bali, Tanggerang, and Pekanbaru. Hope I can visit that great places again soon to explore and remind the beautiful memories. Now, taking a picture is become my hobby.

Serenity in Selong Blanak (Lombok ep1.6)
On the afternoon, we went back to Slenong Blanak to capture the sunset. We have much time to explore as we arrived around 4PM.
In my walked on the beach, I founded some kids playing football and suddenly they run to the water for swimming. They look free and natural, not many kids has a chance to live like this, while some fishermans preparing their tools and boat for sailing. Just a simply living on amazing place :)
On the left edge of the beach, there are a river going from hills to the beach. My mind said that its a good spot to explore. With a new wide lens dan filter.., I think its a new beginning for me in photography specially for landscape.
The sunset show was awesome, the cloud was thin and sun itself showing the yellow red light. We took some times here until the dark. I wish I could go back there soon.

Tanjung Aan (Lombok ep1.5)
On the next day, we went to Tanjung Aan beach which remind me of my friends name, one of the well known beach in Lombok. The beach is already little bit managed as there are parking lot, warung and retribution.
This beach also wonderful with the shallow green water on the right and left side where there is a cape (tanjung) on the center. I found some tourists here for sunbath and swimming. From the condition, I think the goverment plan to manage this area as tourist destination around this path.
We walked to the cape and started to take some pictures there. In very eyes, there are lot interisting spot here but we didnt spent much time here.

Mawun the Special One (Lombok ep1.4)
At 4AM on the second day, we start our plan to visit Tanjung Aan from hotel, but due to some conditions we turn our way to our favorites beach, Mawun.
We arrived earlier than yeaterday. The sun still not fully shinning yet. The cloud look warmed welcoming the sun, acompanied by the green blue water. This time I walked from the beach grass until the hill foot trying to capture a good landascape and enjoy. To be honest I can stay many many longer here and start dreaming that this amazing beach as my backyard someday :)
When I walked back to car, I founded that my friends are talking with villager. From him, I know that some of this area are owned by the peoples. Wow seeing this kind of condition, I wish a have alot of money to buy soon haha, but from the deep I should say that everyone of beauty lover should see this beach as public room.

Senggigi Blues (Lombok ep1.3)
After long day activity since our arrival, we took a good rest in hotel at Senggigi beach and start again to prepare the gear for the sunset. Me and Wandi went through the beach path from hotel where we can see mount Agung at Bali island as the background. Its a perfect spot!
Its little rain at the beginning so we need to clean up our filter many times. I took the breakwater rock as the object and as usual, I tried to capture the good wave or its trail. The only problem that I just aware is my new filter is not match with ND holder so I need to hold the ND filter while capturing the moment. Hmm its remind me a few years back :)
In my imagine, I want to take the coral stones combines as a tone in my head where some of them trowing the green glow of moss. Hmm not perfect but I like the vibrance.

Good Morning from Selong Blanak (Lombok ep1.2)
After Mawun, we headed to the Selong Blanak beach. Its close from Mawun, only about 20 mins. The shape is almost same with Mawun but is bigger bay with tiny hills and lived by some fishermans
This time I have a new lens EF 10-22 that I bought from my friend Shinta. The lens is very wide so now I can be more flexible to positioning the object. Its a perfect lens for landscape photography. Not only the lens, I just bought the new filter color combo from Shingray and the result is amazing.
I'm very amazed with this beach and also the peoples, there are warm and nice. I took some times to talk with them when they offload their catches from the boat. The fisherman usually start sail at the afternoon and comeback around 10AM.
This day is just a beginning from our adventure, and we are lucky to have Wandi who has experience with this island as a guide, so I just need to sit and drive to explore the north beach. Its a good place to watch the sunset actually, so we plan to comeback tomorrow to watch the sunset show.

Amazing Mawun (Lombok ep1.1)
This story telling my trip to Lombok, its my third times to visit Lombok actually but the first time to explore. After done with business things at 4AM on Monday, we headed to Mawun beach for sunrise, the amazing beach that known only by few travellers.
We got a little bit lost in the city, but then we can find the road to the north which its same way to the airport.
The sun has some half rised when we arrive at the Mawun area, suddenly I felt this beach is different.., Its like a fairyland!
Not wasting the time, we took our bag and tripod and go to the pendopo in front of the beach. Its a little bit rain at that time, I took quiet some times there as its a very best moment for me to feel the serenity companied by coffee and cigarettes :)
After the rain gone, the sun fully shining on beach, makes a warm reflection on the water. The beach shape is like the tiny bay which lined by two tiny hills on the edge. The water are shallow, green and very clear. A sexy lonely beach that I ever visit.
